Privacy Policy (PhotoSwipe)

Last updated: May 8, 2026

Overview

PhotoSwipe is a photo curation app that helps you review photos from your device one at a time and decide whether to keep or delete them. This Privacy Policy explains what information PhotoSwipe processes, why it is processed, and the choices you have.

If you have questions, contact us at pinakfaldu3748@gmail.com.

Information We Process

Photos and media library access

  • PhotoSwipe requests access to your device photo library so it can display your photos in the app.
  • PhotoSwipe processes photo assets on your device to show them and to apply your keep/delete choices.
  • PhotoSwipe does not upload your photos to our servers.

Deletion actions

  • If you swipe left (or tap the delete button), PhotoSwipe will request to delete that photo from your device’s photo library.
  • Depending on your settings, PhotoSwipe may show a deletion confirmation prompt before deleting.
  • Deletion is performed using the operating system / photo library APIs. Once deleted, recovery may not be possible (or may depend on your device’s “Recently Deleted” album and OS behavior).

App settings and progress

To help you pick up where you left off, PhotoSwipe may store locally on your device:

  • Your review progress (for example: the last reviewed index or identifiers for reviewed photos)
  • Your preferences (haptics, progress display, dark mode, accent color, delete confirmation)

This data is stored locally and is not intended to identify you.

Purchases (subscriptions / lifetime)

If you purchase a subscription or lifetime access, purchases are processed by Apple’s App Store (or Google Play on Android, where applicable). We do not receive your full payment information. We may receive limited purchase-related data (for example, whether a subscription is active) to unlock features.

How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Provide core app functionality (show photos, apply keep/delete)
  • Save your progress and settings
  • Provide support and troubleshoot issues
  • Maintain and improve app reliability

Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data.

We do not share your photos with third parties.

We may share limited information if required to comply with laws or to protect our rights and users (for example, responding to valid legal requests).

Your Choices and Rights

  • Permission control: You can grant or revoke photo library access in your device settings. If access is revoked, the app may not function properly.
  • Reset progress: You can reset progress within the app (this removes stored progress on your device).
  • Delete the app: Uninstalling PhotoSwipe removes locally stored app data.

Subscription Cancellation and Restore

Cancel a subscription

Subscriptions are managed by the App Store. You can cancel anytime in your Apple ID subscription settings. Canceling stops future renewals; access remains active until the end of the current billing period.

Restore purchases

If you reinstall the app or change devices, you can restore your purchase using the App Store’s restore mechanism (commonly labeled “Restore Purchases” in apps). If you need help restoring, email pinakfaldu3748@gmail.com.

Children’s Privacy

PhotoSwipe is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above when changes are made.
